The Hunza Batura Trek is a journey into one of the wildest corners of the Karakoram. You will walk beside the mighty Batura Glacier, a river of ice stretching nearly 60 km, while snow covered giants like Passu Peak, Shispare, and Distaghil Sar rise dramatically above you. Along the way, you will cross flower filled meadows, sparkling streams, and shepherd huts where the warm Wakhi people continue their traditional lifestyle.     Welcome to Pakistan! Arrive in the vibrant capital, where modern charm meets culture. Stroll through markets, visit iconic sights, and get your first taste of adventure. A perfect warm-up before the mountains call.

  2. Day 2 Crossing into the Mountains: Islamabad to Chilas

    The journey begins with a breathtaking drive over Babusar Pass, where green valleys and snow peaks stretch endlessly. Each turn brings you closer to the heart of the Karakoram.

  3. Day 3 Into Hunza’s Heart: Chilas to Passu

    Travel along the legendary Karakoram Highway. Stop at Rakaposhi View Point and see the meeting of the world’s three greatest mountain ranges. End the day under the magical Passu Cones.

  4. Day 4 First Steps on the Glacier Trail: Passu to Yunzben

    Lace up your boots—the trek begins! Walk beside the mighty Batura Glacier, with ice walls and rugged peaks as your backdrop. Camp at Yunzben, a true mountain hideout.

  5. Day 5 Meadows of Giants: Yunzben to Yashpirt

    Today’s trail crosses the glacier moraines, offering jaw-dropping views of Distaghil Sar (7,885m). Reach Yashpirt, a high meadow where wild beauty meets silence.

  6. Day 6 Into Alpine Wonderland: Yashpirt to Kukhil

    Climb higher to Kukhil’s rolling pastures. This alpine camp is one of the trek’s highlights—green meadows in the shadow of ice-clad giants. Perfect for sunset views.

  7. Day 7 Peaks & Pastures: Kukhil to Guchesham

  8. Day 8 A Day in Paradise: Rest at Guchesham

  10. Day 10 Back to Familiar Trails: Yashpirt to Yunzben

    Retrace your steps to Yunzben, now with a deeper connection to the glacier and its towering peaks. The campsite feels like an old friend welcoming you back.

  11. Day 11 Return to Comfort: Yunzben to Passu

    Step off the trail and back into the cozy charm of Passu. After nights under canvas, a hot shower and a warm bed feel like pure luxury.

  12. Day 12 Exploring Hunza’s Secrets: Passu & Gulmit

    Spend the day discovering local gems—Borith Lake, Passu Glacier, or Gulmit village. Meet locals, taste Hunza food, and capture views of the mighty Karakoram peaks.

  13. Day 13 Through Rugged Valleys: Passu to Chilas

  14. Day 14 Back to Civilization: Chilas to Islamabad
